AKSALont: Automatic transliteration application for Balinese palm leaf manuscripts with LSTM Model

This study aims to develop an automatic transliteration application for the Balinese palm leaf manuscripts into Latin/Roman alphabet. The input this system is digital image of original text from ancient manuscripts, not script, which printed using a font on computer. In study, segmentation-free machine LSTM model was implemented. addition, implementation AKSALont carried out interactions web-based platform cross-platform interoperability. experimental results show that can transliterate characters palm-leaf manuscript images properly with CER 19.78 % 10.475 test data. With online platform, has been able open wider access public content collection.
